Was Jung a Buddhist?
In these writings, Jung demonstrates a decided affinity for Buddhism. However, although inspired by the life of the Buddha and by his teachings, Jung never fell into a participation mystique with this material. Not once did he adopt it, unexamined and undigested, into his own theorizing.
